As the New Year gets under way, Frédérique Constant is delighted to announce that Inès Sastre, world-famous model, actress and UNICEF representative will be the brand’s Female Charity Ambassador for the next two years. In particular, Inès will play a major role in Frédérique Constant’s support of the World Heart Federation.

Involved in Heart related Charities since 2009, Frédérique Constant is honoured to be supporting the invloved “Hearts of Children” campaign. To support this campaign, the Swiss watch manufacturer is launching a beautiful “World Heart Federation” watches collection, in addition to the US$50,000 Frédérique Constant donated in September 2012, at the World Heart Day event in Los Angeles. 100 of these watches will be donated to World Heart Federation member organizations around the world to support their actions aimed at preventing CVD in women and children.

A stunning watch collection for a wonderful campaign

The Ladies World Heart Federation Automatic Collection is a series of four unique, distinct and beautiful new models from Frédérique Constant to support the Hearts of Children campaign. Each of the new design shares certain features, as well as offering completely individual design characteristics. All of the new models are based around the FC-310 automatic winding movement, providing exceptional accuracy, reliabity and durability, with 38 hour power reserve and water resistant to 60 meters. An everlasting beauty.

The models feature a silver dial, and all have the spectacular Double Heart Beat aperture at the 12 o’clock position and sapphire crystal see-through case backs, from whcih you can admire the unique rose gold plated rotor, delicately engraved with the World Heart Federation logo, a special “Hearts of Children” decoration and sunray bridges.

The 34mm case features eight VS diamonds with elegant hand-applied indexes, and the outer ring is finished in luxurious mother of pearl.

Finally, each of these new models is presented in a specially designed, heart-shaped World Heart Federation gift box.

Of the two stainless steel models, the FC-310WHF2P6 is presented with a striking, dark grey satin strap with red lining and folding buckle. The amazing FC-31WHF2PD6 comes with that definite “wow” factor in the form of an additional 48 VS diamonds set in the bezel, presented on a stunning white alligator leather strap with red lining and folding buckle. These watches are certainly getting all attentions.

The first of the rose gold plated models, the FC-310WHF2P4, features a subtle harmony of beauty while the FC-310WHF2PD4 is the second watch in the collection with “girl’s best friend”. The 48 VS diamonds in the bezel stand out beautifully against the rose gold plated case. Both come with a beautiful contrasting vanilla satin strap, red lining and folding buckle to complete the most elegant of offerings.

About Inès Sastre

Inès Sastre is no stranger to good causes. Born in November, 1973, in Valladolid, Spain, Inès originally seemed destined to become a super-model, when she was awarded Elite Model Agency’s “Look of the Year” in 1989. She also won the 1997 beauty trophy at the Paris Fashion Awards. However, her interests lay more in furthering both her education and her acting career. By the age of 15, she was given a part in Carlos Saura’s “El Dorado.”

Now, we look forward to working closely with Inès and World Heart Federation in the Hearts of Children campaign. At the moment, heart disease kills one person every two seconds. Through education and promotional activities, we all, working together, hope to make a positive impact in the battle against the horrors of CVD.
